The Culottes de Peau are hide breeches, typically made of white deerhide.  These are worn for full dress occasions - these have a striking, white to cream color.  The photos below show the culottes with bottes and manchettes that are used to prevent chafing between the boot leather and the white deerskin.  Enlarge the photos for detail.  Contact Nick Serafino.
